Don't buy. Trust me I was a long time agent with this company.
Let me preface this by saying that i was an agent for the company and i did very well my first year and a half. When you first start with the company they tell you that they are saving america with what they do.
And as a new agent who was very close with the divisional manager i believed this person. However, they are simply there to make money. The agents are fed a bunch of canned words to sell these products. They are told that it is full blown health insurance which is not true.
They are indemnity and specified disease and sickness plans. They literally will not cover you if you're illness is not on the list of illnesses that they cover. On top of this many agents will put products in addition to what they tell you is health insurance such as medguard, which is a cash critical illness or what is known as a money purchase plan and other various ancillary products like life insurance. When in reality it is just for the few who are in management to make overrides off of the many agents that they have.
They train their agents to tell clients not to worry about the Obamacare tax that no one has ever paid it. They also tell them that if they do have to pay it along with the really cheap premium that they quote them would still be less than traditional health insurance plans. There is some truth to that however the insurance that they sell is nowhere near enough to keep your assets safe. I had a client who was in a skiing accident and he broke his leg and had a surgery that cost $60,000.
After the in-network discount the insurance company only paid $20,000 leaving my client to foot nearly $35,000 worth of medical bills. What they do is take several blanket policies to try and help cover some of the misgivings that the policies have but it's never enough. They will tell you stories about how they have clients who were injured and actually made money because of things like medguard and that their hospital bills were completely paid for but this is just not the case for most people who buy their insurance products. I thought for the longest time that I was doing the right thing and helping people but when I started to research and actually think about what I was selling to these people I realized very quickly that it was garbage.
The main reason this company exist is to make money from the bottom up. A lot of Agents are told of the stories of the CEO Troy mcquaig and how awesome he is but in reality it's just a funnel for money to hit straight to the top few levels of management. There are roughly eight regional managers in the company all of whom make several hundred thousand dollars and their number one Regional Tarina McCants makes over a million dollars a year to literally do nothing. And then you have your division managers who makes several hundred thousand dollars a year as well as satellite division managers who also make over a hundred to a few hundred thousand a year.
Then you have what's called an FSL most of them make well over 100,000 a year and then you have field training agents who are the lowest level of management who make usually still over 100,000. And then you have a few thousand agents most of whom make less than $30,000 a year because their goal is not to grow agents, their goal is to create an agent turn to where they are constantly getting new agents in. There are the handful of Agents that do make a lot of money but the majority of them are being fed stories about the top few agents and how they can achieve their dream. The company simply exists to make money and not do what their slogan of helping other people everyday would suggest.
If you have any questions about their products please do not hesitate to ask as I promise you the lines that they will feed you will be too good to be true and will not protect your assets no matter what the agent tells you. And just to give you a quick synopsis of what the insurance will not pay for, it will not pay for yearly physicals yearly pap smears yearly prostate exams it only pays $10 towards generic drugs and $30 towards brand name drugs. So if you have a prescription that cost $375 a month and it's a brand name you still have to pay $345 a month. Also if something happens to you like let's say you get cancer six months after having the policy they will say that you had the cancer before and say that it was pre-existing refund you your premiums and you will be out of luck.
Just to give you an example I had a client who was young lady who's insurance premium through Blue Cross would have been $275. I put her on what they call a plan one Premier Choice because she was concerned about cost and her plan was going to cost her $118 a month. One of her medications however was over $400 a month. Ushealth group would only pay $30 towards her prescription.
But if she would have gone with Blue Cross her out-of-pocket costs for her monthly medication would have been $40.
So you see when you try to save money on the front end with garbage insurance you wind up losing money on the back end because it won't pay for anything. I apologize for this being long-winded and again if anyone has questions about their products please please please ask me and I will be glad to tell you as I was a guru at their product.

My husband is a small business owner who was sold a health insurance plan by Jon Richards in FL. On paper, the policy seemed good.
It has a $5k deductible and $2k out of pocket before covering our health insurance at 100%. However, once you try to actually use your coverage, USHealth/Freedom Life Company of America seems to go out of their way to deny claims to ensure that you dont hit your out of pocket expense, ensuring they only pay 80% of your claims (the claims that they actually approve that is) and you pay the remaining 20%. I tracked my out of pocket expenses and paid close to $3k over our out of pocket threshold, but the company shows me at around $60.00 from hitting my out of pocket deductible. The customer service is terrible, and when I contacted Jon for help, I was told that he is just an independent agent.
I appealed my denied claims because all should have been covered according to my policy, but I received a letter saying that that my appeal was denied, and my plan is not considered comprehensive health insurance (which was news to me), and it isnt subject to the Affordable Care Acts mandated benefits. They also dont offer an external appeal process which is a federal law. Somehow, they seem to have bypassed federal oversight. We have paid a healthy monthly premium for worthless coverage that has no state regulation or oversight (Texas where Freedom is headquartered doesnt have jurisdiction to address consumer complaints and neither does CO where we live), so people with health plans from this company have no recourse for denied claims.
Dont be fooled by what looks like good coverage on paper only. This company should have a class action lawsuit based on the number of consumers they have swindled with worthless health insurance.

When Jon Richards called me ( a transfer call from a solicitor), I was hesitant to speak to him because I already had insurance and paying approx $150 a month. Price was very important to me so anything above that would be a stretch and/or nearly impossible.
He asked about my coverage and told me it was one of the worst coverages that I could get. Please note, I am a 45yr old woman who is SUPER healthy individual who trains regularly and eats a semi-vegan diet. Getting insurance was simply for getting allergy shots which my allergies have gotten worse so needing the intervention. My current insurance provider does not cover them so getting them covered is the only way I would switch.
Anyway, he guaranteed they would be covered so I went ahead with the process. I then waited to get the call from the auditor/processor to ask me several questions. Jon had trained me on what to say and not to say. Eventually I passed and got insurance.
I went to my weekly allergy shot and long and behold, that allergist is not covered and self pay is the best option. So now Im paying almost $300 from the $150 and also paying for allergy shots.
I spoke to Jon and told him what was going on and he just apologized. Apparently an apology is part of their training as they continue to make commission.
I would STAY AWAY and find a local office or contact the insurance companies themselves OR do research on their company prior to signing up.

I mistakenly clicked on a link requesting health insurance quotes and have received numerous calls daily trying to sell me health insurance and it gotten very annoying. Well today I called a local number back, think it may have been someone I know trying to get in touch with touch with me.
The guy who answered was a US Health Advisor. So i said not interested and I was annoyed from all the calls i been getting, so I abruptly hung up. He calls me back and ask "why I'm upset? I called him." I said I'm not interested in health insurance.
He asked "So you're not interested in car insurance?" i said " i don't have a car at the moment".
He says "You don't have to lie to me." Who does this guy think he is? I told him if he text or called again, i would report him for harassment.

Wow! Thank you for your honesty and integrity for coming forward.
I was going to attend a webinar tomorrow.
You have saved me hours of wasted time. Thank you!
My plan is a pretty straight up plan with a 7thousand dollar maximum. I’ve used it for several thugs including my physical which I got covered for. Might just be my experience but I’m pretty happy
I totally agree - this company doesn't even come close to providing insurance
Hi, Your comment really helps and I would love to learn more about working there. I just got hired in and already skeptical on my first day!
Thank you so much for this review I was literally getting ready to go with this company until reading this quick question I am self-employed with the family two kids and a wife I am looking for a insurance company that will not rip me off I’ve already been scammed twice do you recommend a company my email address is cbadre.vip@***.com
This is false
I went to the North office to have a group interview. The company official gave a good presentation.
I am an educator, and still don't know how the system works except that they have been phenomenally successful, growing several thousand percent in company growth. They must have done certain things right.
Thanks for your help
Why would you ever switch a client to a plan that would cost them that much more in medications? And after doing such a thing, you don’t even tell them about the goodrx site to help them and probably reduce that down to a few dollars?
You sound extremely shady, and like your contract was cancelled for being so. There’s no way your client had a $35,000 bill for an accident. That client would have used PremierMed, which covers at 100%, and after the association and accident protector payouts, they’d have paid $100 of the $3k deductible. Even if you built your client a “bottomed out plan”, they’d still only be on the hook for less than $2k of the deductible, and then still covered at 100%.
Your pre-existing statement is ABSOLUTELY absurd and untrue.
This review sounds like an angry agent that got his contract cancelled for doing customers dirty. This is an amazing company, and the benefits are better than any plan out there.
Sounds like an agent with a heart who realized that he was not selling insurance. I did read about people being charged for not having health insurance coverage.
So, I’m guessing that the policy didn’t meet the minimum standards. Also, who has insurance and needs to use GoodRx. Lol. That’s embarrassing to sell insurance and tell a client that your prescriptions will cost a lot but just use GoodRx.
BTW, I’m not an agent. So I’m neutral in the conversation.
